One Dog At A Time
Here at One Dog at a Time Rescue we provide refuge for dogs that would otherwise be lost in the system of trying to find their furever home. Every day dogs are left on the streets to fend for themselves or are left at shelters where they ultimately end up on the euthanasia list. ODTR is dedicated to finding the perfect home for each of our dogs by focusing on them one at a time. When you are with us, you are family, and we are able to give our furry family members 100% of our attention and resources by placing them in a dedicated foster home while they await their happily ever after. This eliminates the shelter atmosphere for our dogs, allowing us to truly get to know them in a home environment. They say the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step, and to us the journey of a thousand lives saved, begins One Dog at a Time..

If you are not quite ready to commit to providing a forever home, please consider being a foster parent. Making an impact on the lives of these dogs begins with a temporary home where they can get some TLC. Since we are a foster-based rescue our journey begins with you opening up your home to four more paws – we promise you will gain a best friend and your place in a forever grateful canine heart.
